NATURAL INDIGO WORKSHOP

The November Indigo Workshop at Patricia Cheesman’s Studio Naenna is timed to take place during Thailand’s festive Loy Krathong holiday.
Day 1
Cutting Indigo plants and learning statistics and theory of growing indigo and vat preparation. Prepare an indigo vat together.
Day 2
Beat and sieve indigo. Indigo dyeing
Day 3
Collecting indigo paste. Conclusion.
Things to bring with you:
- A long sleeved shirt on day 1 for harvesting as the plants may irritate your skin. Gloves will be provided
- Mosquito repellant
- Items for dyeing in the indigo vat : one item per person of 100% cotton either one garment, a scarf or 2 meters of cloth. Fabrics for dyeing can be purchased at the Studio if required.

Price : 3000 baht per person. Lunch included
