Talk about King Chulalongkorn's Visits to the Italian Binale
The Dante Alighieri Association Committee is pleased to invite you to attend a dinner and lecture on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at 7 p.m. at the Hyatt Erawan Hotel, Campus Wing. The evening will include a talk in English by Prof. Dr. Apinan Poshyananda on “King Rama V and the Venice Biennale”. Dr. Apinan, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, will speak to our group after returning from Venice, Italy where he participated in this year’s Biennale Exposition, which included a special exhibit to commemorate King Rama V’s visits of 1897 and 1907. Prof. Dr. Apinan a distinguished art historian will share his in-depth knowledge of the cultural ties between Thailand and Italy.
Before the lecture guests will enjoy a delicious Italian meal prepared for us by Chef Frederik Farina, a well recognized culinary authority in Bangkok. The cost of the evening including a few glasses of wine is 1300 Baht for La Dante members and 1500 Baht for guests.

The Hyatt Erawan Hotel is located on Rajdamri Road, at the intersection with Rama I Road. It can be easily reached from the Chitlom station of the Skytrain (BTS).
